#2 Betting on Black and Red at the same time

Always bet on Black... or Red

Always bet on Black... or Red

Ok, so you might be a novice when it comes to Roulette. But it’s no excuse. Even if you aren’t aware that the 1 or 2 green numbers (0 and 00 depending on if you are playing European or American Roulette) will remove any chance of a true 50/50 bet, it’s still a dumb play.

Why is it a faux pas? Because if the number comes up Red, you win your Red bet and lose your Black bet – in other words breaking even. Similarly if it comes in Black.

The whole point of being at a casino (online or brick-and-mortar) is to gamble, take a risk and hopefully hit it big.

The only time when it’s acceptable to use this ridiculous strategy is when you are trying to score free drinks (doesn’t work online). The odds will be slightly in your favour in terms of how often the deadly green zeros will appear, and you might just eke out enough MGD’s and rum and cokes to make it worthwhile.
